if you check statistics of TvT event participation, you will see that almost all of the time is canceled due to lack of participation. This happens for two main reasons: 1. we have very few people online 2. TvT reward (100 mouse coins) doesn't seem to attract players.
Maybe replacing mouse coins with gcm or maybe removing Gold Bar and Apiga from mobs and adding them to TvT reward? i don't know, I'm just giving some ideas here.
